What is Completech
Completech is the consumer programme name given to the Surface bundle promotion and is offered by MTR Group Limited (trading as 4Gadgets), featuring financing provided by Klarna. The programme allows you to pay for your Surface, Microsoft 365 and Surface accessories under a 24-month equal payment plan. Plus, as a programme participant, you can opt to trade in your old technology and receive cashback.
How do I activate my 24-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription?
We send you 2 boxes, each containing an activation code to a 12-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription that you can redeem at any time. Activating both codes will give you 24 months’ subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal. Alternatively, you can activate one code for 12 months and wait until this subscription expires to enter the second code for another 12 months.
If I already have 365 Personal, how does the 24-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription offer work in my case?
We send you 2 x Microsoft 12-month 365 Personal subscriptions that you can redeem at any time. If you already have a 365 Personal subscription, then entering one code will extend your existing subscription by 12 months and activating both codes will extend your subscription by 24 months. You will not lose time on any of your existing 365 Personal subscriptions. Alternatively, you can wait until your existing subscription expires to enter the new codes.
Can additional items be added to my Completech purchase for a lower monthly price?
While we’re always looking for new ways to give our customers the best value and choice, but right now you can’t add other items within the Completech monthly payment. However, additional items can be purchased separately from store.4Gadgets.co.uk
Can I trade in my Surface device after 24 months and receive a trade-in value to put towards a new device?
Not at this time.
Can I make multiple Completech purchases?
Only one Completech purchase can be made per transaction.
Can I use my credit card instead of Klarna financing for my Completech purchase?
No. Completech is only available through 4Gadgets financing partner, Klarna.
What happens at the end of the 24-month period?
The device is yours to keep! You will, however, need to purchase a new Office 365 subscription of your choice to keep enjoying the benefits of the applications you rely on daily.

Completech is a unique programme, with a 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for 24 months with no down payment. Klarna provides financing for Completech and determines qualifications for, and terms of, credit.

What is Klarna financing?
Klarna financing for Completech lets you spread the cost into equal monthly payments with 0% interest and no upfront cost. Your monthly payments are made by direct debit each month, the monthly payment shown means the finance policy will be paid off in 24 months with no extra cost (0% p.a.). Missing payments can have serious consequences for you. Your credit rating may be affected which will make it more difficult or more expensive for you to obtain credit in the future.
How do I contact Klarna for financing questions?

Will my credit be impacted when I apply for Klarna financing?
When you apply for Financing with Klarna, Klarna will make a full credit search with credit reference agencies who will supply credit information. The agencies will record details of the search, which can be seen on your credit file, whether or not credit is granted. This record will also be visible to third parties and may affect other organisations’ future decisions on whether or not to provide you with credit. For any questions relating to the credit check process, contact Klarna’s customer support team.
How do I make payments with Klarna?
All payments are made by Direct Debit. Your payment will be taken from your account on or around the 5th of each month and won’t start until your new console has been shipped. You will receive an email notification which will highlight the payment has been made. You can use the Klarna App to change your bank details if required.
Where can I view my Klarna account summary and payment history?

Can I return or cancel my Completech bundle after purchase?
With Completech, you are purchasing the Surface, accessories, and the 24-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription as a combined product. Items can only be returned if all items in the combined product are returned together. This does not affect your statutory rights. Repairs / Warranty / Hardware Troubleshooting
What happens if my Surface breaks down through no fault of my own?
Your device comes with the standard 1-year limited hardware warranty. If your Surface device malfunctions after that, then you are responsible for any repair costs, and monthly payments for your device bundle (including 24-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription) will continue until the remaining balance is paid.
With Completech, you own the Surface, Accessories, and the 24-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription as a combined product. The Microsoft Limited Warranty covers the Surface and Accessories for one year, irrespective of the length of your financing term. If your Surface and/or controller malfunction after that one-year period, you would be responsible. Please note, monthly payments will continue until the remaining balance on your Klarna financing agreement is paid in full, even if your Surface is not working. We aim to process and ship all orders within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order. If you have provided your email address, you will receive emails regarding your order confirmation and your shipping confirmation. This confirmation will contain your tracking number so you can track where your order is and what the estimated delivery date is.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed.

Damage during shipping

How does trade-in work with Completech?
It’s a quick and easy way to trade-in your unwanted tech for cashback. We will give you an estimated quote at the checkout based on the product information you provide. If you accept the quote, we will send you the free shipping materials you need so you can send in the product(s). Once received, we will first check it matches the information you provided, then send you the cashback.
Is there a limit on the amount of tech I can trade-in with Completech?
There is no minimum or maximum amount of tech that can be traded-in with Completech.
How long is my quote valid for?
Quotes are valid for 14 days from the day you place your Completech order. Provided that we receive your trade-in within this time period your quote is guaranteed. If it is shipped after the 14-day period, we’ll offer you the current price for that model when we receive it.
When do I receive cashback for my trade-in?
Once your device has been successfully traded in, inspected, and approved, we’ll pay you the value of the quote. You will be paid directly by MTR Group Ltd using a same-day bank transfer (aka ‘faster payment’).
If I can’t access or turn my device on, how can I be sure that my data is safe?
We understand there may be sensitive or personal data on your device that you’ve been unable to remove. We run a full, secure data wipe service to remove all data from devices in accordance UK GDPR so you have peace of mind.
How can I see what stage my trade-in is at?
Every order made with us is assigned an order number and you’ll receive regular email updates at each stage of the process. Each pack we send out contains a free returns label with a tracking number that you can use to check the status of your shipment at any time after you post to us.
Do you need me to send my trade-in in the original box with the accessories?
We don’t require you to send the tech you are trading in with its original box or accessories. However, if you wish to send them as well for us to dispose of, we will of course accept them.
